Well, it’s been a while. Nick has been growing and changing so much in the past few months. We had a quiet Thanksgiving at home, which allowed us to really gear up for Christmas. We went all out this year and decorated every room in the apartment. Nick loved looking at the Christmas tree, stockings, and presents. For Christmas, I took the week off and on Thursday we traveled to Salem to be with family. We had a great time and Nick really took in a haul of gifts this year. We are so thankful for our family and our time together.
I was sad when Christmas was over, but now I’m getting excited about Valentine’s Day and Nick’s birthday. It’s like the holidays are only half way through for us! I love Valentine’s Day with all the hearts and red and pink everywhere. Then, in April Nick will turn 2! I can hardly believe it. He’s turning into such a sweet little boy who loves to give kisses and hugs.
The Tuesday before Christmas we had some family pictures taken. I was excited with how well they turned out.
