Thankful for Thanksgiving

Posted by nattya61 on November 30, 2009

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! Nicholas was a little fussy before we left Springfield early Thursday morning. He still looked so cute in his little outfit!

Here he is giving us a courtesy smile.

Thankfully, he slept the whole way to Salem, so he was in a much better mood once we got there.

Nick had the best time. He loves spending time with the family. Nick’s two littlest cousins, Jenna and Connor, were there. I don’t think he knew how to handle other kids, but he did ok. I think Nick is going to be like me and enjoy the company of adults more, even as a kid.

He got to eat turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beans, and dressing. He was very happy with his Thanksgiving meal.

Clean before the feast.

Nick has started doing this thing where he poses for the camera with a big, huge actually, cheesy smile. It’s funny, cute, and slightly odd. That’s my baby! He had so much fun playing with his grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles, but the grin is still a little much. Cuteness!

Some say this is his grandpa's grin, others say it's me.

Here he is having fun with his grandparents.

All giggles!

Nick's so happy!

Grandpa must be funny.

The men.

We got back yesterday afternoon, and Nick and I went to work with Bryan. We were exhausted, but Nick had fun reading the menu as always. I finally snagged a picture of it. How cute is he?

Nick likes to read the menu.

Chillin in his stroller.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Now, on to Christmas!
